The inspection process is quite simple and does not require the inspector to walk on the roof or get inside of the attic of the home. Insurance companies want to know the age and condition of the roof as estimated by a qualified individual from the exterior of the home. How old is the roof?, What is the estimated life remaining in the shingles?, When was the roof last updated?, Are there any visible signs on damage/deterioration (curling/lifted/loose/missing shingles, sagging or uneven roof deck), or any visible signs of leaks? Along with the answers to the questions, they require 2 photographs of the roof to be submitted with the form.
