Jerry, founder of RCI Home & Mold Inspections, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Francis College and brings extensive experience in building construction, property inspections, and mold assessment. Throughout his career, he has completed more than 10,000 residential and commercial building inspections, providing him with an in-depth understanding of how properties are constructed, how building systems interact, and where moisture-related concerns can develop.
Jerry approaches mold assessment with the understanding that identifying the presence of mold is only part of the process. Determining the potential source and conditions contributing to mold growth requires a strong working knowledge of construction, moisture intrusion, ventilation, and building materials. His combination of specialized mold-testing training and decades of hands-on inspection and construction experience allows him to evaluate properties from a broader building-science perspective.

Michael serves as Vice President of the company and brings a diverse combination of business education, hands-on field experience, operational knowledge, and creative problem-solving to his leadership role. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Florida Atlantic University and has spent the past 10 years working alongside his father, Jerry, gaining extensive firsthand experience in the company’s day-to-day operations and the industries it serves.
Michael’s professional background extends across a wide range of disciplines, including carpentry, land surveying, warehouse management, account management, sales, logistics, and underground utility locating, where he also gained experience operating heavy equipment. This broad exposure has provided him with a practical understanding of construction, field operations, project coordination, customer service, and business management.
In addition to his business and field experience, Michael has been a music educator for more than 20 years. His background in music has helped shape a creative and disciplined approach to problem-solving, communication, organization, and leadership—skills that translate naturally into the business environment.
The combination of Michael’s formal business education, extensive field training, construction knowledge, and operational experience has made him an integral part of the company’s continued success. Working closely with Jerry, Michael serves as his right-hand partner in the business, helping oversee operations, support clients and field personnel, and position the company for continued growth and long-term success.
